I have a very very bad experience with Capitalife.
To those reading this, here's a summary of the experience.
1. ENCOUNTER WITH MISLEADING OFFICERS
2. RECEIVING HARRASSMENT CALLS
3. VERY HIGH INTEREST RATES
4. GETTING A PENALTY FOR PAYING THROUGH CASH DEPOSIT ON TIME HA.
5. HARASSING ME TO PAY FOR THEIR OFFICERS' NEGLIGENCE
6. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
1. ENCOUNTER WITH MISLEADING OFFICERS
They will assist you accordingly and then leave you in air with no idea on what to do. I Have saved their messages saying that my penalties are waived.. come to think of it, DO I HAVE TO EVEN REQUEST FOR THE PENALTIES TO BE WAIVED? FOR PAYING ON TIME,ON THE DOT? SERIOUSLY. Anyone in his right mind could have probably punch these officers aready. They say they will get back to you.. but they wont. and they LIE
Example: I have been asking for SOA, then they say theyve sent it. then they ask for oayment transactions and send you a text saying "after you send this report thats the time i send the SOA" ANO YON.
2. RECEIVING HARRASSMENT CALLS
CONTENT OF CALLS: Better pay kasi IPAGHAHANAP KA NAMEN.. ALAM NAMEN KUNG SAAN NAKATIRA PAMILYA MO. Word! You have no right to THREAT ANYONE LIKE THAT.. for 1700 php LATE PAYMENT.. REALLY? THEY WILL HARASS YOUR FRIENDS, HARASS YOU AND THREAT EVERYONE THEY CAN THROUGH MOBILE AND LANDLINE NUMBERS.
3. VERY HIGH INTEREST RATES
ANY ONE WHO LOANS IN THIS COMPANY, BEWARE OF THIS LENDING GROUP! They are not as big as CITIBANK NOR HSBC and they will screw you up like hell. they are starting small and they act as if so powerful, walang LENDING GROUP, NO MATTER HOW BIG YOU ARE, TO BE ME "ELIGIBLE" AND "LEGAL" TO MAKE HARASSMENT CALLS.. Check other rates and compare. theirs is outstanding. im not even sure if pasok ito sa standard lending procedures sa pilipinas.
4. GETTING A PENALTY FOR PAYING THROUGH CASH DEPOSIT ON TIME HA.
- I cancelled my checks and made payments on the example, 10th and 25th. Imagine i pay on the 10th and they post a penalty of 1700.00!! i get a penalty for paying on time! and I did not see that in the contract I have signed. in fact, tapos na contract ko and until now I still do not have a copy. I PAID MY DUE OF 1700.00 ON THE 10TH, WHICH IS MY DUE DATE. AND THEN GET A PENALTY FOR PAYING ON TIME.. DAPAT DAW 3 DAYS BEFORE DUE DATE. SORRY FOR THE WORD. ANG GAGO LANG.
5. HARASSING ME TO PAY FOR THEIR OFFICERS' NEGLIGENCE
SITUATION 1:
There was a time that i was a day late in making payments. this happened ONCE OR TWICE..you know what they did? THEY STARTED SENDING THREAT MESSAGES TO PAY AND ACCORDING TO RA ETCETC (LEGAL TERMS). I am not stupid either. THEY SENT THAT MESSAGE TO MY FRIENDS AND REFERENCE TOO. THAT IS HARASSMENT. I CALLED THEM AND SAID THAT WHAT THEY ARE DOING IS HARASSMENT. AND SECOND, WHAT JAIL ME FOR A LATE PAYMENT OF 1700.00 PESOS. Pilipinas to. It will take some time to put that amount in the court.

SITUATION 2:
DECEMBER 2012 TO MARCH2013 : a different collector handled my account. GUESS WHAT. MY PAYMENT ON FEBRUARY WAS MISSING. EITHER THEY LOST IT, OR IT WAS NOT TURN OVERED PROPERLY. POINT IS, I PAID AND SINCE THAT WAS A LONG TIME AGO AND BANKS ARE EXPECTED TO KEEP THEIR REFERENCE SHEETS, I NO LONGER HAVE MY TRANSACTION SLIP.

MAY 2013- NOVEMBER 2013: I kept on asking for my SOA and I only received it after my LAST PAYMENT

JULY 2013- out of the country. to keep up with my payments, I called them and they said BANK TRANSFER FROM UNIONBANK TO BDO IS FINE. SO I DID.

AUGUST 2013 TO SEPTEMBER 2013- I called and they said that my account is considered UPDATED and I submit UNIONBANK'S OFFICIAL REPORT ON THE TRANSFER (STATING THAT IT WAS SUCCESSFUL) SINCE IT DID NOT POST ON THEIR ACCOUNT (DESPITE Having transaction details ha. and they were saying that unionbank's fault). I SUBMITTED THE REPORT

NOVEMBER 2013: SOA RESULT:
1. NON PAYMENT FOR FEBRUARY CHARGED1700 X 2
2. ON TIME PAYMENT 1, CHARGED 1700.00
3. ON TIME PAYMENT 2, CHARGED 1700.00
4. NON PAYMENT FOR JULY CHARGED 1700X2
JUST LOOK AT THAT. OBNOXIOUS. AND OBVIOUSLY NAMEMERA TONG MGA TO.

WHAT I DID: i sent them an email.. may mga penalties that should stay and willing to pay but these from 1-4 that i have stated.. imagine.. RUNNING BALANCE. GET OUT OF HERE. i really told them either they fix their sheet and i pay for the valid penalty or we will just see each other in court. hindi ko talaga babayaran yan dahil sila ang negligent, hindi ako. they lost my transaction for feb, PAUULITIN NILA AKO MAGBAYAD. TJEY CHARGE ME FOR PAYING ON TIME. AND THEY CHARGE ME FOR NOT RECEIVING PAYMENT THROUGH BANK TRANSCTION (and blaming Unionbank. who to believe, my bank or THEM? I received a official report from unionbank for goodness sake and still they claim they have NOT received payment.) . i sent them all proofs screenshots, calls and email threads to really shove it in their faces that i will really not pay for a balance created by their companys abuse/ negligence

SITUATION 3:
I just received a call from their collector now saying that i have to pay for the unionbank payments and february payments AGAIN and EVERYTHING ELSE. MY EMAIL ACCORDING TO HIM, WILL HAVE A PERSON FIRED AND THAT PERSON HAS A FAMILY (I THINK HE WAS TALKING ABOUT HIMSELF) AND TELLIONG ME NOT TO BE SELFISH... REALY???? YOU TELL THAT TO CUSTOMERS AND THATS NOT EVEN MY PROBLEM ANYMORE. I WORK HARD FOR WHAT I PAY TOO AND THATS WHAT THEY DO. AND ARE YOU REALLY ALLOWED TO MAKE CALLS LIKE THAT? AKO PA DAW ANG NAGMAMATIGAS. WHO WOULDNT.


6. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE
-from the start of my loan to finish which is this month, I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE CONTRACT OF UNDERSTANDING.. I ONLY RECEIVED A SAMPLE. Beat that. talk about professional. I have been asking for my SOA (BECAUSE I AM STARTING TO DOUBT THEIR SERVICE) both through emaila nd phone, and they would say 'we will send it in a bit" but God.. took them until MY LAST PAYMENT TO ACT.
- i went out of the country and every month i send my cash deposit receipts and ASKING FOR ACKNOWLEDGEMENT. THEY DO NOT ACKNOWLEDGE THESE PAYMENTS VIA EMAIL, DESPITE HAVING ONE (2 or 3 officers already assisted me and tried communicating with me via email but they were very inefficient. they can even acknowledge. i had to call from HK TO MANILA to check my payments from JUNE to AUGUST and they kept on saying that i have no problems and MY ACCOUNT WAS UPDATED)


I just ended my contract with Capitalife... I ASSUME THAT IW ILL NOT RECEIVE MY CLEARANCE AND WILL HAVE A BSP RECORD FOR THIS. in the same way, i have proof that WHAT THEY ARE DEMANDING ME IS NOT RIGHTEOUS TO ANY LAW. I told them to contact me in writing and i shall reject all calls that has nothing to do with a RESOLUTION (taking out penalties that were caused by their mismanagement, negligence...and thaking out a penalty for PAYING ON TIME. RIDICULOUS)

NO NEED TO THINK. NEVER TRANSACT WITH CAPITALIFE.
